My sponsors for the Pride of Portsmouth art trail - Portsmouth Gin Distillery - created a special gin and rum gift set as part of the Portsmouth 100 (the city’s centenary) celebrations.

They commissioned me to design the packaging and label designs for the gift box and bottles. I provided a few options and we chose to tie the theming in with the ‘Purrlock Holmes’ sculpture they were sponsoring.

As part of the design work, I created some custom vector illustrations that could be used on other materials - a commemorative pin was created from this too - and provided a template for the marketing team to add their copy into.

This was my first time designing packaging for drinks and I really enjoyed it. I’d love to do more projects like this!
